Kearsney Parks Update January 2021

If you are going to the Russell Gardens or Kearsney Abbey, please respect the social distancing measures and keep at least 2 metres away from other people. You can see the latest government advice at www.gov.uk/coronavirus

Please use our parks responsibly.

Russell Gardens
The work at Russell Gardens in now complete and are open every day of the year.
Dogs are welcome but please keep dogs on their leads.

Kearsney Abbey
The grounds are open every day of the year.
Dogs are welcome but please keep dogs on their leads on the north side of Kearsney Abbey (the side where the cafe is), the old mill pond area and in Russell Gardens. Dogs can be let off their leads on the south side of Kearsney Abbey.

The major part of the landscaping has now been completed and the bridge over the boating lake is open.

The car park at Kearsney Abbey has been re-opened. We will be closely monitoring how it is used. If it becomes apparent that national guidelines are not being followed, we may be required to close the car park again.

There is a temporary café at present and the permanent visitor facilities will be fully open when the lockdown restrictions are eased. In the meantime, the new toilets at Kearsney Abbey are now open daily from 8am to 4pm during the winter season.
