The Dover Society September Outing

Day Trip to Dorking. Thursday, 23rd September

Dover Society Organiser: Rodney Stone

Morning – Denbies Wine Estate
Vineyard train tour of vineyard. Likely art exhibition. Restaurant for refreshments and/or lunch (not included in price), for which space will be made in their dining room. Shop for any items/souvenirs you may wish to purchase.

Afternoon – National Trust’s Polesden Lacey
Visit the house, gardens, and estate. Free entry for Trust members (remember to bring your membership card), £13.30 each for non-members, which Rodney will collect on the coach
Cost of the trip is £30 per person, plus Polesden Lacey entry for non-National Trust members.

Leave Dover about 8am and return about 6pm.
Pick-up points:
Former Railway Bell at River, Buckland Bridge, Girls’ Grammar School or Maison Dieu Car Park
No strenuous walking but outdoor footwear advised.
