The Dover Society is proud to have been the Heritage Open Days co-ordinator for the Dover area of a number of years. Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture, held annually over ten days in September. It offers free, public access to thousands of hidden places, historic sites, and special events, all organized by volunteers to celebrate local community, heritage, and architecture.
